Applications are invited for the Temporary Full-Time position of Equipment Operator 2 (7 Gang Mower) to work in the Parks Operations Division of the Engineering, Parks and Environment Department. This position is scheduled to begin March 13, 2017 and end October 27, 2017 with the possibility of extension.

RATE OF PAY:           $28.34 per hour (2015 C.U.P.E Rate)

HOURS OF WORK:    40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Temporary full-time employees are paid 6% of their regular earnings in lieu of paid annual vacation.

A valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence and experience with the operation of push mower, line trimmer, John Deere Tractor and pull-behind 7-Gang Mower are required.  The successful applicant must also have the ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs on the equipment.  Details of the position and its requirements can be found in the job description.
