Are you 65yrs or older and looking for support to get physically active? Join Choose to Move and work with a certified activity coach weekly to design and maintain a personalized physical activity plan based on YOUR interests, goals, ability, and income. You will also have opportunities to connect with other Choose to Move participants through monthly meetings and regular telephone check-ins. Your personal activity plan can make use of organized physical activity programs or can build on individual interests such as walking, hiking, gardening, active transportation etc. The Choose to Move program is FREE of charge but you need to register!
Working with a certified activity coach, participants develop a personalized physical activity plan customized to their needs, interests, goals, resources and abilities. Participants are supported through regular motivational group meetings as well as one-on-one consultations and regular chek-ins with their activity coach.
