My first six years on the Langley City Council have been very rewarding because I have listened and as a result have learned more about the people in this community than I ever thought possible.  As a member of Council I will do my best to ensure that you are heard and that you continue to live in a community that you can be proud of.

As a result of my time on Council and my continued involvement in our community, I have gained a genuine understanding of the needs and challenges facing our City.  I will continue to make a positive difference on Council and use this knowledge to deal with important issues as they arise.

We are experiencing tremendous growth throughout the lower mainland, and with this growth comes the associated problems of homelessness, drugs, increased crime, transportation issues and pressure on our fragile infrastructure.  These are concerns that we have to face head on in the coming years, and there is no “one size fits all” solution.

Densification in our downtown is what will enable us to keep your taxes as low as possible, make the community vibrant, and maintain the quality of life for the residents who live here.

Major investment in our infrastructure is also essential to the health of our community. Fortunately, we are debt free and have the Casino revenues to use for capital costs, thereby not having to use tax dollars for projects such as the Fraser Highway Bridge, Al Anderson Pool expansion and the future Timms Community Centre.

I am proud to be raising my family in this community, and I will continue to work hard as your representative on Langley City Council.
