Gayle Martin

Councillor Gayle Martin serves the community on the following committees:

  • Member, Metro Vancouver Parks - Experience the Fraser Committee

  • Metro Vancouver Representative, Frasert Valley Regional Library

Gayle is currently serving her eighth term on Langley City Council. She has served on many committees during her tenure on Council.

Gayle is the City of Langley's representative on the Metro Vancouver Board of Directors. She has held this position for the past twenty-one years.

She also represents Langley on a number of other Metro Vancouver committees.

Prior to being elected to City Council she was involved in many community organizations, including the Langley Chamber of Commerce. Gayle was the first female to become President of the Langley Chamber of Commerce, a position which she held for two years.  Gayle is an avid supporter of Critter Care Wildlife Society where she volunteers when needed.  She also volunteers every week at St. Joseph’s Back Door Soup Kitchen.
