 Aquatic Leadership Program

The Aquatic Leadership Program at Al Anderson Memorial Pool provides teens and young adults the opportunity to experience the challenges of working in aquatics.  The program includes training in instruction, shadow guarding, leadership and special event training.  Interested candidates should complete the following application form and return it to Douglas Recreation Centre or Al Anderson Memorial Pool by the May 15, 2012 deadline.  Phone (604)514-2865 for more information

Prerequisites:

  • Minnows - 12 to 13 years old and completion of Swim Kids 10
  • Sharks - 14+ years and completion of Swim Kids 10
  • Must complete a one day orientation
  • Must have two reference letter
  • Able to committ a minimum of 25 hours
