ESA Mapping Study

The City of Langley, with the assistance of Diamond Head Consulting (lead consultant) and Zoetica Environmental Research Services (sub consultant), recently completed an Environmentally Sensitive Areas Mapping Study. The Study was endorsed by Langley City Council at its Regular Meeting on March 7, 2016.

The Environmentally Sensitive Areas Mapping Study comprehensively maps and classifies the City’s sensitive ecosystems using contemporary scientific methodologies while advancing recommendations for the protection and enhancement of ESA’s. The Study and its recommendations will help the City of Langley to protect and manage its environmentally sensitive areas over the next several years.
