Public safety issues continue to be top of mind in our community. Like other communities in the region, the City faces challenges related to crime and homelessness. To help combat these issues, the City created the Crime Prevention Strategic Plan.
The new Lunch & Lounge pilot project is officially underway at McBurney Plaza! New tables, Adirondack chairs and a variety of fun programming is available at McBurney Plaza through to September 1. Each Wednesday and Friday between 11:30am - 2:00pm.
The City of Langley is undertaking a major refurbishment of the 200 Street Bridge crossing the Nicomekl River. The work is scheduled to commence early August 2017 and the anticipate completion date is fall 2017, weather permitting.
