Covid-19 update

Under the provincial health orders youth specific programs are exempt and youth are not required to have vaccinations to attend. This includes both drop in and registered programs. 

Masks are still required when not engaging in physical activity 

 

Volleyball for Girls 

Bump, set and spike! Learn the basic techniques and strategies of Volleyball or practice and improve what you already know! This 6 week course will teach youth at the beginner and intermediate levels how to improve their games and hit the ball! Youth will learn and practice all the basics through fun drills and skill building activities... lots of game play included! This program is restricted to female identifying youth.

September 24th to October 29th 
Fridays

Timms Kitchen - Cooking Class

Welcome to Timms Kitchen where youth get to learn and try awesome new recipes! We cover kitchen safety, basic cooking terms and techniques. Recipes will vary from pasta to enchiladas to easy ramen. The best meals are the ones you make yourself! Program fees include instruction, all cooking materials and recipes to take home.

Set #1: September 21st to October 26th

Teen Pump (13-16yrs)

Learn the safe and effective way to train in weight room! This small group class led by a BCRPA certified trainer will teach youth how to safely use a variety of equipment and body weight exercises to achieve their fitness goals. Each participant will receive a training plan based on their needs and goals. Youth who complete the Teen Pump program will be able to use the Timms Community Centre weight room without adult supervision.

Babysitters Course (12 to 17 years old)

This course teaches the most up-to-date information about childcare and safety for youth ages 12 to 17.
