We invite you to join parks staff, City Council, the Langley City Youth Committee, musician Jessica Barbour, and the Vancouver Green Team volunteers in celebrating Earth Day by completing the redevelopment plan with the planting of native trees and plants in the park. The Langley Youth Committee will be providing a pancake breakfast and drinks by donation and selling boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts for $10 in support of Youth Week.
The grand reopening will take place on April 21, 2018, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, the planting, music, and breakfast will start at 10:00 am with the official ceremony at 11:00 am. This will provide an opportunity for residents to come out and bring your picnic blanket or lawn chair to enjoy a pancake picnic in the park, help plant up the park, enjoy music from the talented Jessica Barbour, and celebrate with neighbours.
Hunter Park is located at 19959 45 A Avenue or it can be accessed from 19959 45 B Avenue. Additional parking is available at Penzer Park and along 198 C Street. We ask all attendees to be respectful of neighbourhood residents in the area.
