Public Service Announcement: Paddington Station Evacuee Update

Langley, BC – Residents who have been impacted by the fire at Paddington Station Apartment complex in the 5600- block of 201 A Street (buildings 5650, 5660 and 5640 ) have been updated by authorities at the evacuee-only information session at the reception centre. Evacuees who do not have accomodations with friends or family will be transported to local hotels.

Resident who have not attended the evacuee-only information session are encouraged to visit the reception centre in Douglas Recreation Centre at 20550 Douglas Crescent between 8:30am – 4:30pm tomorrow for more information. An information session has been scheduled for 12:00pm on Monday, December 12th at Douglas Recreation Centre. This update is for evacuees only.

We would like to thank local organizations who have extended their support to residents of Paddington Station complex and our local City and Township firefighters in their time of need. The City of Langley will continue to gather information and release it as soon as it becomes available.
