The City of Langley is offering complimentary drop-in programs and activities on Tuesday, May 10th at the Timms Community Centre and the Langley Lawn Bowling Club in celebration of Move for Health Day.

The City of Langley is inviting competitors of all ages and abilities to swim, bike and run in the 16th Annual TRI-IT Triathlon on Sunday, June 12 at the Al Anderson Memorial Pool. Check-in begins at 7:00 am and the triathlon starts at 8:00 am for youth and 9:30 am for adults. The event has categories for youth ages 5-14, adults, seniors, and relay teams of up to three people. Prizes will be awarded to the first place male and female participant in each age category.

The City of Langley is inviting young people aged 12-17 to enjoy free activities April 29-May 5 in celebration of Youth Week. The annual event is designed to help build a strong connection between youth and their communities. “Young people are an important part of the City of Langley and we want to showcase all the wonderful things they’re doing,” says Thomas Nyte, Youth Recreation Leader at the City of Langley. “This week is all about celebrating youth and bringing our community closer together.”
