The City of Langley Recreation, Culture and Community Services Department is committed to ensuring all residents have access to quality recreational programs, beautiful parks and an abundance of open spaces and play areas. We strongly believe that an active lifestyle will benefit individuals, families and especially our community and so, we urge everyone to participate in community recreation. Whether you enjoy sports, dance, art, music or are looking to volunteer, there is a program suited just for you!
 
Free copies of our Recreation Guide are delivered to Langley residents and will be available at Douglas Recreation Centre (DRC), Langley City Hall & Library,  Timms Community Centre (TCC).

Admission Fees for Timms Community Centre: 

Admission includes access to:  Weight Room, Fitness Track, Games Room, Drop-in Sports, and Drop-in Fitness.

 

Annual Passes are eligible for the monthly payment plan - 12 equal monthly payments ask staff for details... 604-514-2940

City of Langley Residents Leisure Access Grants

The purpose of the leisure access grant program is to provide recreational opportunities to citizens who may otherwise not be able to participate because of cost.

Other Financial Assistance Programs

KidSport Langley: launched in the fall of 2010, KidSport Langley has already helped over 140 kids take part in organized sport. KidSport Langley provides funding (up to $200) for local children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in a sport season of their choice. Children must be residents of the City of Langley or the Township of Langley and in need of financial assistance in order to participate. The application process is simple and very confidential. Canadian Tire Jumpstart: dedicated to removing barriers, so children can participate in organized sport and recreation, this program will provide children in the City of Langley in need with the financial assistance needed in order to participate in a wide range of sport and recreational activities. Kids Bowl Free Program: Select Bowling Centres around the country are participating in the first ever Kids Bowl Free program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Children bay register for 2 free games a day, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers... our very own Willowbrook Lanes is one of them!
