Each summer the City of Langley Recreation, Culture and Community Services Department offers up a variety of FREE drop-in programs for the community.

City Walks

Free instructor led walks exploring the different neighbourhoods in our community. The pace of the walk is set by the instructor based on the group.

  • Dates: Mondays & Thursdays (July 4 to August 31)
  • NEW Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm
  • Location: Mondays* - Meet at Douglas Park (20550 Douglas Crescent)
  • Location: Thursdays - Meet at Brydon Park (198 St & 53 Ave)
  • *Holiday Mondays are changed to Tuesdays (July 3 changed to July 4), (August 7 changed to August 8)
Creative Kids

This instructor led family drop-in will focus on being creative while making arts and crafts projects. Parent or guardian participation is required. All supplies are included. Limit of one of each art/craft project per child.

  • Time: 9:30am to 11:30am
  • Location: McBurney Plaza (20518 Fraser Highway)
Push Play

Family drop-in program focused on playing games, sports, and movement. Each week will also feature a craft, limited to one per child. Parent or guardian participation is required.

  • Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays (July 4 to August 31)
  • Time: 9:30am to 11:30am
  • Location: Douglas Park Spirit Square (20550 Douglas Crescent)
Sounds of Summer

Musicians from around the Lower Mainland are coming to McBurney Plaza this summer. Rock, folk, jazz, classical, world - no matter what your style, there's a performance for you. All concerts are free to attend and fun for all ages. Concerts are weather dependent; any cancellations or changes will be posted to this page.
