City of Langley Revives Highly Anticipated Neighbourhood Meetings This October

Langley City, BCThe City of Langley is thrilled to announce the long-awaited return of our renowned Neighbourhood Meetings this October. These gatherings provide an invaluable platform for both - the City and our residents to engage in constructive dialogues regarding a wide array of topics, including City initiatives, projects, services, and programs in our community.

The Neighbourhood Meetings will encompass discussions on critical subjects such as the Surrey Langley SkyTrain, Financial Plan, Transportation 2045 Plan, Engineering and Parks Projects, Urban Forest Management Project, Zoning Bylaw Update, Community Safety, Bylaw Enforcement, Fire Prevention, Recreation and Culture Programming, and Community Events.

We warmly encourage all residents to attend a Neighbourhood Meeting in their local area, taking place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

  • October 5 – Douglas Neighbourhood
    • Douglas Recreation Centre, 20550 Douglas Crescent
       
  • October 11 – Alice Brown & Uplands Neighbourhoods
    • Uplands Elementary, 4471 207A Street
       
  • October 19 Nicomekl Neighbourhood
    • Nicomekl Neighbourhood, 20050 53 Avenue

  • October 24 Blacklock & Simonds Neighbourhoods
    • Simonds Elementary, 20190 48 Avenue

We warmly extend an invitation to all residents to join us at a Neighbourhood Meeting within their area. No RSVP is required. Your input and participation are invaluable in shaping the future of our community.
