The City is constructing additional pathways through our Uplands Dog Off-leash Park in conjunction with BC Hydro. The new route will give users a more direct way across the park, improve walkability during all weather conditions, and aid BC Hydro’s initiative to relocate the fence on the west side of the park. The City is excited to work with BC Hydro and make the park more enjoyable for its users and four-legged companions avoiding any chances of Startle-shock by limiting the approach to Hydro line bases. The fence relocation is scheduled to begin Aug 17th and be completed within the next week.
