The City of Langley Library is a part of the Fraser Valley Regional Library (FVRL). FVRL is the largest public library system in British Columbia, with 25 community libraries serving 700,000 people in its service area. The City of Langley Library offers almost 17,000 square feet of collections and services.
The library's collection includes current and popular materials for all ages. In addition to books, you’ll find magazines, Blu-rays, DVDs, CD music and audiobooks, maps, language learning resources, newspapers and more. Library Cards
As a resident of Langley, your library card is free. You can sign up online or in-person during open hours. Membership is free to all residents and includes:
- Access to a collection of over 1.5 million items
- Online catalogue to place requests on items, renew materials, check on the status of your account, read book reviews and more.
- 24/7 access to online library services
- Virtual programs, including storytimes and baby times
- In-person events and programs for all ages
- Professional reference and information services
- Free internet access
- Access to reading materials for home-bound residents through our Outreach Services
Computer Resources
The City of Langley Library provides computer and Internet access, including word processing and printing. The library site is wireless-enabled so that you can use your laptop or device to link to the library's website and the Internet.
