Fraser Hwy from 196 St to Production Way
Motorists are advised that Langley City will be completing water main construction and road rehabilitation on Fraser Hwy from 196 St to Production Way. Hours of work will be from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Monday to Friday. Businesses will remain open and two lanes of traffic will be maintained during the course of construction.

City crews will be conducting water main flushing between March 18 - May 1, 2019. If flushing occurs in your area you may experience discoloured water. Run your taps until the water is clear. If you have any questions, call the City at 604.514.2910.
The City of Langley will be conducting its annual residential water meter reading period, and Neptune Technology Group has been contracted to conduct the meter reads. Please be aware that Neptune’s representatives will need to access the meter and/or touchpad location on your property which may be in the front, side or backyard. All Neptune staff will have photo ID badges and orange high-visibility jackets with company logo. Please facilitate access and ensure your meter and/or touchpad locations are clear of obstructions.

Several key initiatives in the City’s vision includes an update to the City’s Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw as well as the creation of the Nicomekl River District Neighbourhood Plan. Langley City has retained the services of MODUS Planning, Design & Engagement to carry out both assignments for the City through a competitive project procurement process.

The 2019 Financial Plan currently has a gap of $1,893,530 between total revenues and planned expenditures which would equate to a 6.98% increase in property taxes to balance the budget.
