City Council has approved door-to-door canvassing for representatives of World Vision within the City for a week in February and a week in March.
Over 30 cm of snow fell in Langley City in the over the last several days, and City crews have worked diligently to clear city streets. Due to these efforts, City crews have used approximately 500 tonnes of salt from the current supply.
The Metro Vancouver pressure-regulating valve project on the Clayton-Langley Water Main has been delayed to allow Langley City staff to focus on snow removal efforts.
Snow is expected to continue throughout the region and into Sunday. Road conditions are slippery so please travel with caution.
The City of Langley has been advised by its water supplier, Metro Vancouver, that a pressure-regulating valve on the Clayton-Langley Water Main needs repair.
Penzer Park will receive a significant renovation in time for Canada’s 150th Anniversary, with the Government of Canada’s CIP 150 investment of $500,000 in partnership with the City of Langley’s contribution of $800,000.
