Langley City, BC – The City of Langley's Arts, Recreation, Culture, and Heritage (ARCH) Committee and the Langley Arts Council are excited to invite all B.C. filmmakers to submit their original work on Film Freeway between November 30, 2022, and June 30, 2023, to win at the first Langley City Film Festival (LCFF), which will take place from Friday, October 20th to Sunday, October 22nd, 2023.

The theme of the film festival is 'Transitions'. Have you undergone a shift in perspective? Are you seeing the world through new eyes? Have you discovered a new way of being? Or have new environments opened themselves up to you? Well, the Langley City Film Festival is the perfect opportunity to share your story.

"Due to recent events, we can all relate to this idea of 'Transitions' in one way or another. Let's take this opportunity to connect with our community and one another on a deeper level of experience and understanding through film," said Co-Chair Langley City Councillor Rosemary Wallace. "The festival aims to provide a space for emerging and professional B.C. filmmakers to submit and screen their original films to a captivated audience in the City of Langley."
