Development Permit Application DP 04-22 - Opportunity for Public Input - October 24, 2022 - 3pm

The City of Langley has received a Development Permit application for the property located at 6141 200 Street (see map below). The Development Permit would authorize the development of a 746 mrestaurant.

The issuance of the Development Permit is governed by Part 14 of the Local Government Act and the guidelines contained in the City’s Official Community Plan (OCP).

Langley City Council will consider comments from members of the public on whether this application is sufficiently consistent with the applicable Development Permit Area guidelines, as contained in the City’s Official Community Plan bylaw, at its regular meeting on October 24, 2022. Persons wishing to provide oral or written comments are advised that Council is limited to only considering how the Development Permit Area guidelines should apply to the property and the project. 

The land use, density and other zoning regulations for the property have already been established in the Zoning Bylaw and are not under consideration as part of this development review process.

As a measure to facilitate council meetings in the safest manner possible during the COVID-19 pandemic, Council meetings are being held by electronic means as permitted by Bylaw 3193, Langley City Council Procedure Bylaw. As such, interested parties may submit comments by mail, email or by attending the electronic meeting.

•    At the electronic meeting: email the Deputy Corporate Officer to register to attend and receive a link to join the meeting.
