Development Variance Application DVP 01-22 (19907 53 Avenue)

Council approved a Development Variance Permit application to allow a height of two storeys and an interior lot line setback of 1.5 metres in relation to construction of a duplex at 19907 53 Avenue.

Development Variance Permit No. DVP 02-22 (5525 209 Street)

Council approved a Development Variance Permit application to allow front and exterior accessory building setbacks of 1.0 metres and the provision of 84 parking spaces in relation to the construction of a 600 sq. ft. refuse bin enclosure at the property located at 5525 209 Street.

Appointment of External Auditor

Council appointed BDO Canada LLP as the external financial auditor for the City of Langley for a five-year term, beginning with the 2022 fiscal year that ends on December 31, 2022, through to the 2026 fiscal year that ends on December 31, 2026.

2023 Schedule of Regular Council Meetings & Return to In-person Council Meetings in 2023

Council approved the following schedule of Regular Council Meetings in 2023:

May 1, 8
June 5, 19
July 10, 24
September 11, 25
October 16, 30
November 6, 20
December 4, 11

Council further resolved that effective January 1, 2023, the Regular Meetings of Council will be held in the Council Chambers, Langley City Hall, 20399 Douglas Crescent, Langley BC at 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise resolved by Council.

 Reschedule December 5 and 12, 2022 Electronic Regular Council Meetings to 4:00 pm

Council passed a motion to reschedule the December 5th and 12th Regular Council meetings to start at 4:00 pm rather than 3:00 pm.
