Public Input Opportunity - Urban Forest Management Strategy

Date
-

The City of Langley is developing an Urban Forest Management Strategy (UFMS). The UFMS will assess current urban forest conditions and provide a vision and short-, medium-, and long-term recommendations. The UFMS will guide the City to sustainably manage its urban forest, maximize the urban forest’s benefits, achieve the City’s strategic objectives, and align with other relevant policies such as the Official Community Plan.

Have Your Say on how we plan, manage, protect, grow, and partner together to care for the urban forest!

Take the 15-minute online survey

Take the 15-minute survey and share your thoughts which will inform the vision, principles, goals, and targets presented in the Urban Forest Management Strategy. The survey will be open from June 8th to July 16th.

Submit an urban forest place

Submit places in Langley City on the interactive online map where you value the urban forest and places where you would like to see it being improved. You can also explore places submitted by others by clicking the pins on the map. We will be collecting your urban forest places from June 8th to July 16th.

**Please note that there will be a delay of up to two business days before the places submitted appear on the public map. This delay is to ensure that the information submitted is appropriate and meets the City of Langley’s privacy policy and terms of use.
